Competition Entry Guidelines

Eligibility:
The competition is open to:

  • All RIBA Chartered Members
  • All ARB registered architects
  • All RIBA Part 2 & 3 students on a RIBA validated course
Entries:
We are looking for photographs, taken by individual architects themselves, that celebrate the aesthetics of architecture. The subject can either be one of the architect's own buildings or their personal favourite from anywhere in the world, whether it be iconic or domestic, celebrated or pilloried.

There are 2 categories: Architecture and Place and Architecture and People. It is possible to enter photographs for both categories - up to 3 photographs per entry (either 3 of the same building or one each of 3 different buildings), colour or black & white. If entering both categories you may enter up to 3 images for each category.

Two PC compatible jpeg files must be submitted per image: one screenview jpeg, marked "screenview", and one print quality, marked "print". All shortlisted entries will be printed out professionally at A3 format so please optimise for this size. If you require your entry to be printed smaller than A3 please specify the dimensions you prefer and we will accommodate your request if possible.

Entries (entry form and images) should be emailed to: entries@architectseye.co.uk as long as the compressed file size does not exceed 8MB or sent on a disk (hard-copy entry forms accepted) to 15 Dock Street, London E1 8JL.

No responsibility is accepted for entries lost, damaged or delayed in transit.
